Explore Cape Town
Make the most of your trip with our favourite local adventures
We are excited to share some of our favourite places and activities in Cape Town with you!
Here are a few recommendations for you to explore
Table Mountain
Take a scenic ride to the top of Table Mountain for stunning views of the city and coastline. We recommend buying tickets online to avoid long queues, though expect a wait of 1-1.5 hours. Remember to check the weather before your visit.
V&A Waterfront
Enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment at this vibrant waterfront location.
Chapman’s Peak Drive
This iconic coastal road offers breathtaking views and is considered one of the world’s most beautiful drives. Please note, it’s a toll road (R61 return from Hout Bay to Noordhoek).
For a sunset experience, pack a picnic and bubbles! If you’re only driving for the sundowners, simply inform the toll booth that you’re not crossing to Noordhoek, and you’ll be allowed through for free. You can drive up to 2.7km past the toll gate before parking.
Wine Tram
Explore the picturesque vineyards and wineries of Franschhoek with the Wine Tram.
Hop on and off the vintage-style tram or open-air bus, and indulge in wine tastings along the way.
